Steve,
I would have to agree with you on your points about the amount of material
but I also think that has to do with the number of people who actually write
for LWP and the number of articles in each issue, small numbers in both
cases. IMHO maybe they should put everything together at the end of the year
and issue a CD like LightRom (which I also think is a great value) with much
more material on it. I would not be greatly disappointed if they
discontinued them either because most of the articles are tutorials that you
should work through to get the final product and technique down anyway.
Hence the name, tutorials.:^) The macros could be posted somewhere (maybe an
AVID BB or Tomahawk) with the author approval to save space in the
magazine. As long as they are charging people like us I don't believe they
should be PD after any period of time.

I`ve not been that impressed by the LWPRO support disks, I subscribed a
short
while ago, and asked for all back disks, and payed $8 each for them, alot
of stuff has been duplicated on each disk. Its like getting an updated disk
with last months stuff still on it, and a few new macros for this month.
I`m not to bothered if the disks are going to be discontinued, as I was not
planning to renew my subscription. I`ve payed $90 in total for 5 back disks
and a 6 disk subscription. Not good value for money, when you compare it
against other sources like LIGHTROM cdrom for us$39.
